Role Accountability:
Setting up, copying, and storing documents
Creating or maintaining templates
Managing requests for documentation
Creating or maintaining the projects numbering system
Filing documentation in both physical and digital records and ensuring appropriate storage
Download of all formal and informal issues and distributing them to appropriate personnel
Quality Check of all incoming information and ensure all information complies with project protocol and standards
Liaising with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties. and distributing project related information in an appropriate secure manner
Oversee, manage and train project team members in the daily use of electronic document management system
Advising on generation of the document control processes
Maintaining confidentiality around sensitive documentation
Preparing ad-hoc reports on projects when required
Other languages: German, Spanish and Polish are a plus
Document Controller responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the above.
Qualifications
Competencies:
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with project management
Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel
Proficient typing and editing skills
Data organization skills
Attention to detail
Time management skills
A working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems used in the industry especially Autodesk (ACC)
Awareness of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19650 principles relating to Information Management
Candidates should have a good understanding of the Document Control function and have
Experience of working as a Document Controller (preferably within the engineering, environmental sector, or a related sector).
Excellent knowledge of English with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are also essential because
document control specialists regularly communicate with internal and external business
partners.
Ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot.
Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role
Familiarity with project management
Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel
Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
Proficient typing and editing skills.
Data organization skills
BSc degree already obtained is mandatory
BSc degree in Project Management or relevant field is a plus
Experience with SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud is a plus.
Team player, but self-sufficient, positive, and collaborative approach
Keen interest in new tech / processes
Attention to detail.
Confidentiality
