Introduction
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior ETL Developer to join our data engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise ETL solutions. The role involves working with complex data integration processes and supporting various initiatives, including enhancements, optimizations, and selected data migration projects involving Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle, IDMC, and Snowflake.
Your role and responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC
*
Develop and optimize data integration workflows for enterprise data platforms
*
Participate in projects involving migration of ETL processes and data from Informatica PowerCenter and Oracle to IDMC and Snowflake
*
Analyze existing ETL processes and propose improvements in terms of performance, scalability, and maintainability
*
Implement and maintain data quality, validation, and error-handling mechanisms
*
Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality data solutions
*
Perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning
*
Review ETL code and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices
*
Provide guidance and technical support to junior ETL developers
Required technical and professional expertise
Required Skills & Experience
*
5+ years of experience as an ETL Developer, with a strong senior-level background
*
Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
*
Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) or willingness to work with it
*
Strong experience with Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL)
*
Solid understanding of Snowflake as a data platform
*
Excellent SQL and data transformation skills
*
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices
Preferred technical and professional experience
Nice to Have
*
Previous involvement in ETL or data platform migration projects
*
Experience with other databases or data warehouses
*
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
*
Scripting experience (Python, Shell)
