Job Title: Production Scheduler

Reports To: Materials and Scheduling Manager

Job Status: Hourly

Job Locations: Bryan, Ohio

Basic Job Functions:

Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners under the SPAX® brand for the construction market, TRUFAST® for the commercial roofing industry and TRUFAST Walls® for exterior building envelopes and facades.

The Production Scheduler -- Bryan Manufacturing is responsible for the daily execution and maintenance of production schedules within the Bryan manufacturing facility. This role supports operational execution by translating forecasts and customer demand into detailed shop-level schedules and coordinating adjustments based on capacity, material availability, and operational performance.

The Production Scheduler ensures schedule accuracy within SAP, communicates priorities to production leadership, and monitors adherence to planned schedules to support on-time delivery and production efficiency.

Essential Responsibilities:

Production Scheduling & Execution

  • Create and maintain detailed daily and weekly production schedules for Bryan manufacturing operations
  • Translate forecast, MRP and customer requirements into executable shop-level work orders
  • Adjust schedules based on material availability, capacity changes, machine downtime, and priority shifts
  • Communicate schedule priorities and changes clearly to Production Supervisors and department leadership
  • Monitor production adherence to schedule

SAP & System Maintenance

  • Enter and maintain accurate production scheduling data within SAP
  • Release, modify, and close production orders in SAP as required
  • Maintain accurate lead times, due dates, and status updates
  • Ensure Data accuracy to support reliable MRP outputs and reporting
  • Assist with ERP-related reporting and schedule performance tracking

Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate with Production Supervisors to confirm labor and capacity alignment
  • Communicate material shortage or constraints to Materials Planning team
  • Support coordination with outside processing operations when applicable
  • Assist in scheduling adjustments for new product launches or priority changes
  • Track and communication back-orders or delayed production impacts

Schedule Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor daily production results against plan
  • Identify schedule adherence issues and escalate recurring constraints
  • Assist in developing schedule improvement reports and KPIs
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling accuracy and execution
