We need a Maintenance Technician for our established manufacturing company.

We will pay you between $23.50 to $30.00 depending on experience.

We offer lots of benefits to include 401K, Medical, Dental, Eye, Life Insurance and Quarterly and Annual Bonus potential.

Great shift Monday-Friday, limited weekend scheduled with voluntary OT available.

Please have a technical degree in maintenance, or related field with 3 plus years experience to be considered for this position.

*PURPOSE: *An effective Maintenance Technician holds safety as a value. Demonstrates safe work practices in all they do and has no hesitation notifying anyone of an unsafe situation. Can work as a cohesive team and has the skill to identify problems and recommend improvements to provide quality, on time products to our customers. Maintenance Technician should have a passion for understanding how things work and have sharp senses that help you locate minor faults quickly. An analytical person, a methodical thinker, who can manage his/her time to achieve department goals. Ability to maintain, repair, install, and improve our industrial equipment.

1.0 DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Follow all company safety guidelines, practices, and procedures. This includes the proper use of personal protective equipment when required.

  2. Ability to maintain machinery requiring hydraulic, electrical, and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repair in an industrial setting to maintain production requirements.

  3. Performs prescribed work in a safe and efficient manner and complies with applicable codes and practices.

  4. Ability to troubleshoot automation technology, make minor adjustments, reset minor robot issues using teach pendant, and assist in root cause analysis with team.

  5. Maintains a strong presence on the shop floor and in related process areas to perform breakdown maintenance and to ensure that production machinery and support systems are operating at optimal levels of performance.

  6. Make suggestions for machinery and process improvements or modifications.

  7. Ability to do light fabrication, MIG weld, and use torch.

  8. Safely operate mobile equipment, cranes, power tools, hoists, and hand tools.

  9. Ability to dismantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts.

  10. Control downtime by communicating with your supervisor recommending contingency measures.

  11. Provide on-the-job training to maintenance trainee, new hires, and assist with new technology in the department when needed.

  12. Follow company policies and procedures.

  13. Always maintain cleanliness of equipment and workstation areas.

  14. Targeted reduction in waste of all forms (time, materials, labor).

  15. Communicate effectively with supervisors, group leads and business unit managers.

  16. Creating and continually improving upon a culture of teamwork, accountability, and trust by modeling expectations and providing positive feedback to drive desired behaviors.
