Job Title: Senior Director, People & Culture Strategy, Planning & Capabilities

Reports to: SVP, People & Culture, EUROPE OU

Position Overview

In Europe, People & Culture (P&C) is an essential partner to the business and a driver of sustainable growth. This role leads the Strategy, Planning & Capabilities agenda for the Europe OU P&C function, including enterprise-wide Organizational Effectiveness , ensuring tight integration with the OU Long Range Planning (LRP) and Annual Business Planning (ABP) processes, and enabling the organization to execute strategy with speed, clarity, and impact. Additionally, the team leads People & Culture strategic projects and be the People & Culture lead in transformational cross functional initiatives in Europe with the OU Leadership teams and function specialists. Lastly, this team co-ordinates our OU budget and our capability work across the P&C in Europe

This Senior Director is accountable for:

  • Enterprise-wide strategic orchestration of P&C initiatives and outcomes across the OU

  • Governance, portfolio management and performance (OKRs/KPIs) to shift resources into the work that matters most

  • Capabilities transformation to future-proof P&C and enable business strategy

  • Budget stewardship and dynamic resourcing (agile) to unlock productivity and reinvest in growth

  • Integrated Strategic Long-Term and Annual Business Planning for People & Culture

  • Enterprise Organizational Effectiveness: shape and evolve the Europe OU organization design, operating model, governance, and ways of working to enable business strategy, improve execution quality, and sustainably deliver performance outcomes.

You will steward Europe P&C routines and operating mechanisms, elevate execution excellence, and build the capabilities, infrastructure and culture required for a world-class People & Culture function.

What You'll Do for Us

Strategy, Planning

  • Lead the P&C contribution and integration to the OU LRP & ABP, translating business priorities into a focused P&C strategy, portfolio and resourcing plan.

  • Own the P&C ABP System priorities and planning process with our top markets and functions, ensuring shared agendas, clear charters, and measurable outcomes.

Portfolio Governance, Execution & Performance

  • Design and run the Europe P&C governance model (cadence, forums, decision rights) to drive clarity, accountability and high performance.

  • Lead Performance Management for the function: maintain and evolve the P&C OKR/KPI dashboard, facilitate monthly readouts with HRLT and OULT, and propose actions to shift resources into the highest-value work.

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Lead the Europe OU Organizational Effectiveness agenda, integrating organization design, operating model, decision rights, and ways of working into the P&C strategy and portfolio.

  • Partner with OU Leadership and Functions to assess and evolve org structures, spans & layers, role clarity, and accountabilities in line with LRP and ABP priorities.

  • Embed organizational health, execution effectiveness, and agility metrics into the P&C performance framework, complementing financial and capability measures.

  • Work in close collaboration with the Finance team to pro-actively understand OE impact on OPEX

Capability Transformation & Change Leadership

  • Architect and lead the P&C capability transformation (skills, processes, infrastructure, culture) to enable LRP/ABP delivery and competitive advantage.

  • Lead Organizational Effectiveness initiatives across Europe to improve enterprise performance-spanning organization design, operating model effectiveness, and ways of working-while delivering headcount, OPEX, and OI goals.

Budget, Resourcing & Productivity

  • Own the P&C budget governance and introduce a Fuelight-style productivity model for P&C-reallocating spend from low-value to high-impact capabilities and initiatives.

  • Plan, organize and control resources to achieve ABP objectives within scope, time, quality and budget constraints; run ongoing risk assessments and mitigation across all major initiatives.

Data, Insights & Communities of Practice

  • Elevate analytics-translate people, organizational design, decision effectiveness, and organizational health insights into actionable recommendations for senior executives.

  • Lead internal culture and data communities of practice to embed evidence-based decision-making, inclusive leadership behaviors, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead automation in P&C processes

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred .

  • 15+ years of international experience in People & Culture/HR, Strategy/PMO, Corporate Functions, or adjacent areas in multinational companies; experience in other OUs or with bottlers is a plus.

  • Demonstrated business/commercial acumen and the ability to convert strategy into executable portfolios with measurable outcomes.

  • Proven success leading cross-functional programs and complex change at OU/System scale; mastery of stakeholder influence at senior levels.

  • Experience with agile methodologies/dynamic resourcing and transformation programs.

  • Fluent English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.

Communication Focus

  • Influence senior executives including OU Leaders and OU President; facilitate decisions across diverse viewpoints.

  • Inspire passion and desire for change across the P&C function and the broader OU/System.

  • Communicate complex, multi-layered issues simply; provide clear narratives, options, and recommendations.

Mastery of

  • Building trusted relationships at all management levels.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including executive storytelling and board-level framing.

  • Multi-tasking and information processing across diverse sources (business, people, regulatory, reputation).

  • Analytical rigor-ability to synthesize complex documents, KPIs, and insights into actions.

  • Accountability, collaboration and inspirational leadership; meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.

Broad Expertise (Good to Have)

  • Advanced writing and public speaking.

  • Certifications in Project/Program Management (e.g., PMP) or Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP).

  • Experience leading Organizational Effectiveness and enterprise design work (e.g., org design, operating models, governance, decision effectiveness) in complex, matrixed organizations.

Direct Reports: 2 (mix of PMO leaders, capability leads, and analytics/governance).

Travel: As required across Europe to support OU priorities.
