Job Description
A growing technology services organization is seeking a senior Network Architect to own the design and evolution of a carrier‑grade network foundation supporting a large portfolio of geographically distributed locations.
This role is responsible for defining network architecture standards across core infrastructure, distributed access networks, and ISP‑grade services. The Network Architect will lead architectural strategy, guide engineering execution, and play a key role in scaling a highly available, resilient network environment as the organization expands.
This is a leadership‑level, hands‑on architecture role suited for candidates with deep experience in telecom, ISP, campus, or large multi‑site network environments.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent advanced experience designing carrier‑grade ISP networks
10–15+ years of experience in core/ISP networking and large‑scale network architecture
Proven experience designing POP architectures, including routing, switching, redundancy, and resilient backbone connectivity
Strong expertise in Layer 3 routing and resiliency, including BGP and OSPF
Experience architecting Layer 2 transport delivery to distributed locations, including aggregation, handoff, and service demarcation
Experience owning CGNAT strategy and supporting IPv4/IPv6 transition planning
Ability to define and maintain engineering standards, diagrams, MOPs, and operational procedures
Demonstrated ability to mentor network engineers and provide architectural leadership
Experience working with carrier‑grade networking platforms, such as Calix, Juniper, and Nokia
Willingness to participate in on‑call leadership for major incidents and planned maintenance windows
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally - Experience designing for high availability, scalability, and traffic resiliency
Background in telecom, ISP, campus, or large multi‑site network environments
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, Nokia NRS, or equivalent
