Quality Control Lab Technician
3rd Shift | Monday–Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

As a Quality Control Lab Technician, you will play a key role in testing materials, supporting production, and maintaining the integrity of our laboratory operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy, communication, and problem‑solving are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in‑process and finished product testing in accordance with internal standards and customer specifications.
Prepare and test specimens using injection molding and other laboratory equipment.
Evaluate results, identify nonconformities, and clearly document any required adjustments to production materials.
Place out‑of‑spec materials on quality hold and complete additional sampling, inspections, or testing as required.
Conduct routine calibration checks and preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments.
Maintain accurate, timely records following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and molding work area.
Communicate effectively with production, quality, and leadership teams regarding test results and quality concerns.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment
Strong understanding of basic chemistry, quality control methods, and testing procedures
Proficiency with laboratory equipment and technical documentation
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Certification in Applied Technology
Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
Previous experience in QC testing or polymer/materials testing
Familiarity with injection molding processes
Basic project coordination or leadership experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfort with software for data entry, logging results, and equipment interfaces
Work Environment
This role is based in a dynamic manufacturing laboratory environment on 3rd shift (10 PM–6 AM, Monday–Friday). Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brownsville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
