Are you someone who likes staying active, enjoys hands‑on work, and takes pride in doing a job well? Join our team as a Returns Material Handler and help keep our warehouse running smoothly and safely. We’ll train you, support you, and make sure you have what you need to succeed.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect and sort returned products on pallets—sometimes by hand, sometimes using warehouse equipment.

  • Decide what’s next for returned items (restock, replace, or scrap).

  • Use handheld scanners to enter return information into SAP and our Warehouse Management System—the tools are easy to learn!

  • Be the go‑to person for basic questions about return status and help keep things moving.

  • Put away products, stage materials, and replenish bins so everything is where it needs to be.

  • Handle and dispose of unsellable products following company guidelines.

  • Operate forklifts or reach trucks (we’ll train you!) to move return material safely.

  • Complete quick, daily equipment checks and report anything that needs attention.

  • Keep your area clean, organized, and safe—you’ll always know exactly where things are.

  • Follow all Saint‑Gobain safety rules, OSHA guidelines, and wear required PPE.

  • Help us meet accuracy and productivity goals so our customers get what they need on time.

  • Pitch in with other warehouse tasks as needed—teamwork makes the day go faster!

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to working safely every day.

  • Ability to follow directions and learn new processes quickly.

  • Warehousing experience driving / utilizing motorized equipment-

  • Experience operating a Rider Counterbalance (RC) or Rider Reach (RR) forklift — or a willingness to learn (we’ll train you!).

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, able to shift priorities when needed.

  • Willingness to work in a non‑temperature‑controlled warehouse (it may be warm or cold depending on the weather).

  • Able to handle moderate exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and vibration.

  • Physically able to stay active during the day — including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

  • Able to read and communicate in English, count accurately, complete simple math, and write clearly.

  • A reliable team member with good attendance, strong initiative, and a focus on getting the job done right.

Preferred (Not Required)

  • HS Diploma / accredited GED

  • Knowledge of warehouse or processing functions — or interest in learning them.

  • Ability to pass an OSHA‑approved Jungheinrich equipment certification (training provided if needed).

  • Familiarity with voice‑picking or RF scanning equipment.
