This Position reports to: Global Sales Manager Service Robotics Are you passionate about innovation and eager to revolutionize laboratory processes with cutting-edge robotic automation? We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager with a strong background in laboratory processes or laboratory equipment sales. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tendencies. The work model for the role is: #LI-Remote in the United States with a preference for candidates in the Western US. Your Role and Responsibilities: Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions. Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer's business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB. Participating in the development of sales strategies for the accounts through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer. Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors' activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented. Manages administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed. Prepares offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department. Qualifications for the Role: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology or equivalent field 5+ years' expertise in laboratory processes and/or laboratory equipment sales required Prior work experience related to laboratory automation and robotics will be highly valued Experience in Account Management is a plus Availability to travel (up to 50% of the time) Outgoing, goal-oriented individual with good communication and interpersonal skills Applicants must possess work authorization to work permanently in the United States What's in it for you?
