Pitney Bowes is now hiring for Direct Hire Full Time Onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician II in our Brown Deer, WI facility.
3rd shift: Wednesday - Sunday 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
Base Rate: $30 -$32/hr with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.
$3.00/hr additional for 3rd shift
You are:
A Performance-driven contributor who can effectively troubleshoot, repair, or diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues on industrial equipment with little to no supervision. You are a self-motivated individual who seeks opportunities to learn effective ways of increasing efficiency and reducing downtime of industrial mail sorting equipment.
You will:
Troubleshoot, diagnose,install, and repaircomplex mechanical and electronicindustrialequipment including conveyor systems,andsortation machines
Respond to equipment break down or emergency situations
Utilize inventory, pmschedule,and work order systemsto effectively reduce downtime
Assistinmaintainingthe spare parts/supply inventory
Read and interpret schematics, charts, servicemanualsand parts diagram
Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairsin a timely manner
Performelectrical and mechanicalrepairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery includingbelt/pulley systems,hydraulicand pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids
Usea multi-meter or any other type of electronic testing equipmenttosafely test or executeappropriate maintenance
Perform alladditionalduties asrequired
Your background:
As an Onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician II , you have:
1-3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment including mailing equipment/sortation, conveyance, PLC systems, or any other industrial electro-mechanical production equipment
Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment
Excellentproblem-solvingskills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, read schematics,establishpriorities, and work under deadline pressures
Experience withelectro-mechanics troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
