As a part of our Advanced Technology and Prototyping team within the Air and Space Force Solutions Business Area, you ll join a diverse group of driven professionals who research and design edge capabilities that address some of the hardest problems within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).We arelooking for an engineer to add their skills to our team whereyou ll be able to make an impact while you hone your skills and grow in your career.

Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Job Responsibilities

• Work as part of a software development team to design and implement rapid prototypes for a broad range of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), sensor exploitation, tracking, and Command and Control (C2) challenges

• Support customer demonstrations, integration events, and field experiments

• Lead tasking of yourself and other developers including decomposing high-level tasks into smaller more manageable issues/tasks

• Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task, readily adapt to change, and respond to quick turn-around requests

• Support customer meetings, demonstrations, or other externally facing activities

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor s Degree in an engineering or science field with 4 years of relevant professional experience OR an advanced degree in a related field with 2 years of experience

• Capable of leading a small team of software and test engineers including managing tasks and schedule

• Understanding multiple system interactions and the ability to investigate and diagnose issues across multiple applications

• Experienced developer with strong coding, debugging, design and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in programming languages, e.g. Java, C , Rust

• Experience using collaborative source code management (Git, Subversion), Agile Development, and DevSecOps

• Experience with Windows and Linux Development Environments

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Active Secret Clearance, able to get TS/SCI Clearance

• Familiarity in one or more of the following areas:

• Cloud native technologies, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Harbor, Helm

• Real-time or time critical processing pipelines

• UI/UX design and development including GIS

• Data analysis and performance evaluation

• Space, air, and/or ground systems

• Modeling & simulation (M&S)

• Command and control (C2)

• Tracking and estimation methodologies

• Mission planning

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
