Walmart (USA) Quality Engineer in Brooksville, Florida

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

IMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE

Lead process improvement tools and methods, including 5S, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, and Time and Motion Studies , to eliminate quality losses and deviations within a Distribution Center, aligned to the Network Process Structure and Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs.

Deliver expected functional area results through Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, loss elimination, and the creation of standard work to reduce process variation.

Assist with the review and response of quality-focused process improvement projects owned by area managers.

Compile and submit deviations to existing One Best Way playbooks, and provide input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities.

Support the tactical deployment of the Quality Excellence WPS program methodology .

Manage execution of projects addressing top quality losses within the functional area, and assist in building capability among area managers and associates.

Assist with the creation of area quality loss profiles , performance metrics, and gap analysis to support WPS integration.

Support Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement initiatives, and KPI improvements within the process area.

Lead quality-related savings projects by removing loss from processes.

Promote and support company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply it to the development, execution, and continuous improvement of action plans.

Provide expert advice and guidance to others, sharing best practices and supporting alignment to customer and business needs.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $120,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or prior experience in Quality or Process Improvement OR 2 years' of relevant work experience.

Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills.

Co-Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution with experience applying basic Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools, Possess applied knowledge of a functioning Quality Management System elements including Statistical Process Control, FMEA, Quality KPIs, etc
