Job Title: Production Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Machine Operator to oversee the operation of a specialized machine that strings solar cells together and solders them onto a solar panel frame. The machine is equipped with multiple processes, and the operator's role includes monitoring the supply of thread in the system and inspecting the final product.
Responsibilities
Monitor the supply of thread in the system to ensure continuous operation.
Visually inspect products after solar cells are strung together to ensure quality.
Review quality checks displayed on a 50-inch monitor and set aside products for repair if necessary.
Stop the machine every two hours for a 30-minute general cleaning session.
Essential Skills
Experience in production and general labor.
Proficiency in machine operation and general production processes.
Familiarity with CNC operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with shifts from 6am-6:15pm or 6pm-6:15am on a 3-2-2-3 schedule, with opportunities for additional shifts.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a large, brand new manufacturing facility that is very clean due to the involvement of solar cells. Employees may need to wear hair and beard nets in certain areas, and closed-toe shoes are mandatory. All equipment and machinery are brand new and highly automated.

This is a Contract position based out of Brookshire, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
