Class B CDL Driver Job Description Withers Lumber relies heavily on teamwork. Responsibilities: Load and deliver materials to job sites and other yards. Keep warehouse, yard, and trucks neat and in good repair. Critical Success Factors: Customer Service \' Assist will call/walk in customers with loading materials as needed \' Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction \' Communicate with Job Foreman during deliveries, make sure load is correct and placed where requested \' Relay any complaints or concerns about loads to yard foreman and salesman Operational \' Build loads, assuring accuracy of items, band and wrap as needed \' Secure all loads on truck with appropriate straps \' Get delivery instructions and directions from Yard Foreman, unload where customer has requested \' Maintain safety for yourself and others while unloading \' Know the weight limits of the vehicle you are driving, stop at all scales required \' Make deliveries/pick ups in a timely manner \' Must be able to lift 60 pounds Other Key Factors: \' Federal DOT Regulations apply \' Personal organization and time management \' Be vital to the success of the company \' Provide appropriate and timely feedback \' Maintain personal integrity at all times \' Adhere to company policies and procedures
