As a Mechanical Assembler, you’ll work hands‑on with mechanical components, panels, and assemblies in a dynamic metal manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do
Assemble hatches, panels, and mechanical components using hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, tape measures).
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate, high‑quality assembly.
Prepare panels for painting, including installing insulation and hanging panels on racks.
Package completed assemblies, verify accuracy, and prepare them for shipment.
Cross‑train across multiple departments to expand your skills and support production needs.
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and help maintain quality standards.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
What You Bring
At least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.
Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools.
Experience with drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, etc.
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bonus Skills
Experience in automotive, auto body, or similar mechanical environments.
Familiarity with torque tools and proper torque application.
Hands‑on mechanical experience (e.g., oil changes, small repairs).
Willingness to learn, cross‑train, and support multiple departments.
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.

Work Environment & Schedule
This is a hands‑on role in a metal manufacturing facility, similar to an auto body shop. You’ll be on your feet, using tools, and working in an active production environment.
Shift options include:
First Shift:
Mon–Thu 5:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Fri 5:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m.
(extended hours and potential mandatory Friday overtime)
Second Shift:
Mon–Thu 2:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m., Fri 12:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
Weekend Shift:
Fri–Sun 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (paid for 36 hours)
Additional details:
Non‑union environment
Steel‑toe boots required
Long pants and short‑sleeve or long‑sleeve shirts required
Occasional Saturday work based on production needs

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.
