*A moving company is seeking individuals to load and unload products in and out of trucks. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. *
Job Duties:
- Load and unload vehicles by hand or by using a hand truck or dolly
- Wrap furniture with blankets to prevent damage
- Wrap dishes and fragile items in packing paper and pack into containers
- Pad, stack, and secure items in position on truck to prevent damage
- Deliver and stack shipment on customer's premises
- Assist in cleaning truck, tools, and equipment
- Collect or pick up empty containers and packing materials
- Wear uniform acceptable to company
Qualifications:
- Three to six months related experience is preferred
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Must have the ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs, requests, and assistance
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, frequently 100 pounds, and occasionally more than 100 pounds
- Must have work boots
- Must have the ability to follow all policies and procedures
- Must be at work every day and on time.
- Must have a polite and friendly personality with a neat appearance
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
