Payment Processing & Remittance Operator (2nd Shift)
Shift: Wed – Fri : 2pm-10:30pm & Sat – Sun; 8am – 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $24.20/hr
Start Date: 3/16/2026
About the Role
We are seeking dependable and detail‑oriented Mailroom Remittance Processors to support high‑volume payment and document processing operations. This role is essential in ensuring accurate processing of customer payments, scanned images, and batch documentation within a secure production environment. Candidates with experience in payment processing, remittance, lockbox, document imaging, or high‑volume data entry are strongly encouraged to apply. Full training on all processing systems is provided.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare incoming mail for digitization by extracting payments, checks, and documents from envelopes.
Input and validate data while following standard operating procedures and customer‑specific payment processing instructions.
Operate high‑volume document scanning machines and ensure scanned image quality meets accuracy standards.
Reconcile and validate electronic payment images and batch records against paper documentation.
Make sound judgment calls for routine payment or document processing tasks; escalate non‑routine situations to supervisors or management.
Learn additional payment processing functions, batch workflows, and imaging equipment as needed across departments.
Meet productivity and quality standards while contributing to both team and individual processing goals.
Follow all customer, banking, audit, security, and operational guidelines.
Lift and move mail trays and batch trays weighing up to 50 lbs.
Requirements Experience required — training provided.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Must be willing to work in a high‑security, high‑volume production environment .
