Lavada Inc Project Manager in BROOKLYN, New York
Job Description: Work with manufacturers, architect and engineering team to ensure seamless compatibility of materials, including air vapor barrier, sealants, splices, gaskets, metal panels, etc. Assist in developing mathematical modeling for project budgets and cost estimates, to manage cost, incorporate contingencies for potential future expenses and mitigate extra costs effectively. Draft and maintain technical specifications, designs, technical drawings, submittals, etc., utilizing project management software such as Procore and Bluebeam. Utilize engineering principles to design alternatives and conduct benefit analysis to optimize faade constructions with cost considerations. Lead end-to-end execution of change orders and purchase orders to ensure timeliness and cost control. Conduct clash detection with AutoCAD 3D and perform quality assurance and control (QA/QC) process after faade installations. Conduct site visits and job hazard analysis (JHAs) to ensure project process in strict accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety standards and regulations. Requirements: MS in construction management, civil engineering, or a closely related field. 6 months of experience. Knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project and Excel, and AutoCAD. Certifications in OSHA 30 Hour Safety, PMI-PMP or PMP-CAPM. NYC-DOB SST 62 Card. Travel to NY metro job sites 2-3 times per month.
