Job Title: Plumbing Apprentice
Job Description
Join our team as a Plumbing Apprentice, where you will engage in a variety of plumbing installations, including no hub, branch lines, shower lines, gas lines, copper plumbing, and cast iron plumbing. You will be involved in brazing and soldering copper pipes, as well as working with PVC and PEX. Your role will include the installation of drain lines, shower lines, sewer lines, gas lines, and septic lines.
Responsibilities
Install and maintain various plumbing systems, including no hub, branch lines, and shower lines.
Conduct gas line installations and repairs.
Perform brazing and soldering of copper pipes.
Work with PVC and PEX materials for plumbing installations.
Handle plumbing sewer lines and septic lines.
Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality plumbing installations.
Follow blueprints and plumbing designs accurately.
Essential Skills
Must have 1-4 years of experience working for a plumbing subcontractor as an apprentice or helper
Proficiency in plumbing and piping, including brazing and cast iron work.
Experience with copper plumbing and finish work.
Strong understanding of plumbing and fire protection systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 30 certification. (Required)
SST 10 certification. (Required)
F60 and G60 certifications. (Required)

Work Environment
Work locations include Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx. Must be willing to commute via car or public transportation. Our workplace demands perfect attendance and a high level of productivity. Team players who welcome feedback and thrive in a high-paced environment will excel here. Working hours are from 6:00am to 8:00am start, with end times between 3:00pm to 5:00pm, and overtime is available. Employees must provide their own tools, PPE, and measurement tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
