Customer Service Representative

A global leader in power and transmission solutions for professional Security, Surveillance, Access Control and Fire applications seeks a Customer Service Representative.

The ideal Customer Service Representative will be responsible for performing the below job functions including but not limited to: -Accurately enter and process purchase orders in a timely manner. -Correspond with customers and internal and external company representatives on all matters related to the order. -Diligently follow purchase orders through to completion, working with appropriate parties to quickly resolve issues that may delay timely processing. -Perform general office and clerical tasks. -Other related Customer Service/ Order Entry office duties as deemed necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior experience entering purchase orders within a manufacturing setting/sales office environment. -Ability to prioritize and multi-task. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Professional and pleasant phone manner to service incoming and outgoing calls -Proficiency in use of computers and related software. -Excellent organizational and time management skills. -Detail-oriented work ethic. -Knowledge of SAGE100 preferred but not required.

Additional Information: Schedule: Full-time (9am-5pm), Monday-Friday Rate of pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.
