Inside Sales Representative I Location: Brooklyn Heights, Ohio (Greater Cleveland Area) Work Environment: Onsite Schedule: 9:30 AM -- 6:00 PM Application Window: Open until filled

Position Overview

The Inside Sales Representative I (ISR I) supports business growth through inbound and outbound sales activities. This role focuses on reconnecting with inactive customers, engaging prospective customers, retaining existing accounts, and delivering a positive customer experience while meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals. The position also provides administrative and digital sales support.

This is an onsite position based at a business location in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Sales

  • Conduct outbound calls to inactive, lost, and prospective customers
  • Handle inbound and outbound call volume related to sales campaigns and retention efforts
  • Qualify customer needs, assess service eligibility, and present value-based sales messaging
  • Apply approved promotions, pricing, and special offers as appropriate
  • Complete all required steps to finalize sales and ensure successful delivery of products or services

Customer Experience

  • Deliver a consistently positive and professional customer experience
  • Build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Actively listen and respond with appropriate solutions

Documentation & Systems

  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in CRM and enterprise systems
  • Document completed sales, agreements, and customer communications
  • Generate orders and complete required account documentation when applicable

Administrative & Team Support

  • Comply with organizational policies and procedures
  • Complete assigned administrative tasks as needed
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet performance expectations

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Sales techniques including prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business tools (Microsoft Office or similar)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Experience using business or office software (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, or similar tools)
