Amneal Pharmaceuticals Compression Group Lead - 2nd Shift in Brookhaven, New York
Description:
The Compression Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of the compression machine in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining 100% cGMP & compliance to ensure the production of quality products.
Essential Functions:
To check tablets/ Capsules parameters hourly in compression/encapsulation from every machines. Responsible for online documentation in all Compression/encapsulation operations. 40%
To check and initial the tablets/capsules data entered in PBR by operators to avoid errors and perform on line review of PBR. To check the tablets for physical defects like sticking, chipping, capping, and encapsulation defects like dented capsules, logo erosion, and empty capsules during the entire run of Compression/Encapsulation machine. 10%
To check and monitor the Room temperature and Humidity where ever the product demands 10%
To train and provide “On Job Training” to the fellow junior operators are regarding the setting up the machine and making the initial sample and trouble shooting. 10%
To review the batch folders once the compression is completed. Any discrepancy, inform Supervisor. 10%
Continue “On Job Training” of Fette machine parameter set up from Compression Equipment Mechanic/ Supervisor. 10%
Proper usage of Safety and Protective Gears and Dress Code. Keep Department neat, clean and organize at all times, Supervise and Manage department in absence of Supervisor 5%
Must possess excellent knowledge Compression and Encapsulation Department SOPs, cGMP and Compliance need required for Pharmaceutical standard. Check and ensure that Compression and Encapsulation Operations are performed as per SOP. 5%
