HIRING Structural Engineer (EITs Welcome)

We’re looking for a motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing team and play a hands‑on role in designing safe, thoughtful, and high‑quality building structures. Whether you’re an entry‑level engineer with an EIT or an early‑career structural engineer ready for more responsibility, this role offers real project ownership, direct mentorship, and a clear path toward licensure and career advancement.

You’ll work closely with experienced Professional Engineers, architects, and contractors—contributing to projects from initial concept through construction and seeing your designs come to life in the built environment.

What You’ll Be Working On

As a Structural Engineer, you’ll support and lead structural design efforts for a variety of residential and light commercial projects, including:

• Custom single‑family residences

• Structural repairs and retrofits

• Renovations and additions

• New construction projects

You’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle—field investigation, analysis, design, documentation, and construction support—giving you well‑rounded experience early in your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site walkthroughs and field investigations to evaluate existing conditions

• Perform structural analysis and design for residential and light commercial buildings

• Prepare and review structural drawings and calculations using AutoCAD

• Design using a variety of materials, including steel, wood, masonry, aluminum, and concrete

• Perform construction inspections and construction phase observations

• Coordinate directly with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors

• Manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy, quality, and deadlines

What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural focus)

• 0–4 years of experience in building structural engineering (non‑bridge)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• Working knowledge of:

• Structural steel

• Cold‑formed steel

• Wood/lumber framing

• Masonry

• Aluminum

• Concrete foundations

• Ability to perform site visits and field investigations

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred / Nice to Have

• EIT certification (PE licensure encouraged and supported)

• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering

• Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA‑3D or RAM

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with experience)

• Quarterly & annual performance bonuses

• 3 weeks PTO (18–21 days)

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
