Job Title: Sheet Metal Foreman

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Sheet Metal Foreman, where you will be responsible for the installation of ductwork, including square and spiral designs, and HVAC systems. You will also manage the installation of rooftop fans and general sheet metal components.

Responsibilities

  • Install square and spiral ductwork efficiently.

  • Perform HVAC mechanic duties, focusing on sheet metal and ductwork installation.

  • Install rooftop fans, exhaust fans, and sheet metal structures.

  • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate construction and installation tasks.

  • Conduct sheet metal fabrication and ensure precise installation.

  • Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant certifications and protocols.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in duct installation and sheet metal work.

  • Experienced with HVAC systems and components.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in the field.

  • OSHA 30 and SST 10 certified.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of construction processes.

  • Experience with cut sheets and fabrication techniques.

Work Environment

The position is based in the Bronx, New York, with a start time of 6:00 am. Work is conducted in a large, still-under-construction tower. Full personal protective equipment (PPE) and all required certifications are mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bronx, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.
