VETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Responsibilities: - Supervise security staff: assign breaks, posts, and duties during your shift. - Train new security officers of the Standard Operating Procedures of the Facility. - Monitor access control systems and personnel. - Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention to protect staff and clients. - Conduct facility rounds to prevent, detect, and report hazardous situations and illegal activities. - Oversee AWOL property procedures and monitor client property logging for accuracy. - Review log- books, incident reports, and administrative documentation for accuracy. - Keep management informed of critical incidents on assigned shifts. - Fulfill Safety Security Officer duties as needed. - Must have Active F02 and F03. Qualifications: - High School Diploma or High School Equivalency. - Fire Guard for Shelters F02 - Indoor Place of Assembly Safety Personnel (F03) - NYS Security Guard License. - Sexual Harassment Training.
