A&H Security Services LLC Director of Finance in Bronx, New York
VETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Responsibilities: - Assist with preparation, review, and submission of certified payroll in compliance with applicable regulations. - Support contractual reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all client and regulatory submissions. - Perform administrative tasks related to contracts, including tracking deliverables, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. - Assist with general accounting and finance functions, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis. - Support accounts receivable and collections efforts, including follow-ups on outstanding invoices and maintaining aging reports. - Participate in the development of cost proposals, including pricing analysis and supporting documentation. - Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure alignment between financial reporting and contractual obligations. - Assist in improving internal processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required), advanced degree or professional certification preferred. - 5-7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting roles. - Strong understanding of certified payroll and contract-based financial environments preferred. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with government contracts or prevailing wage environments. - Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Win Team or similar platforms. Work Environment & Expectations: - Office-based role. - High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines. - Strong collaboration with internal teams including operations, compliance, and executive leadership.
