The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Student Assistant with a keen interest in chemical safety to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the EHS field while benefiting from flexible working hours designed to accommodate your academic schedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain hands-on experience in EHS practices, specifically related to the management of chemical safety programs

  • Support the team in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining accurate records, and analyzing data

  • Be involved in tasks such as the administration and updating of safety data sheets (SDS), technical support, courses planning and EHS communication

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related fields)

  • Basic knowledge of chemistry and classification of chemicals

  • Understanding of chemical safety principles and regulations

  • Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets is preferred

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Positive mindset, able to handle many stakeholders and tasks

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with full professional fluency in both Danish and English
