JOB REQUIREMENTS: Spray prepared surfaces with specified amounts of primers and decorative or finish coatings. Hold or position spray guns to direct spray onto articles. Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers or power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths. Clean equipment and work areas. Apply rust-resistant undercoats and caulk and seal seams. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: This position involves painting parts and units with an electrostatic spray gun while conforming to established quality standards. A vocational diploma in auto body and paint technology, with knowledge of coatings, coating systems, and electrostatic spray coating is preferred.
