JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Ensure production and facilities equipment is operational by responding to emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance. Equipment includes but not limited to CNC equipment, robotics, control systems, pumps, welders, punches, presses, shears, cranes, hoists, conveyors, heating and cooling ventilation systems, electrical systems, small hand tools, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment, and paint equipment. Work with all electrical components, relays, sensors, ac and dc motors, drivers, servo systems and pneumatics systems. Perform PLC program creation and modifications and electronic modifications to production equipment. Work with voltages ranging from 5 VAC to 600 VAC. Provide and coordinate production reliability improvement efforts and equipment troubleshooting support as needed with the production, maintenance, and engineering teams. Coordinate trade and OEM-service contractors, certifying that work requested is performed as expected while conforming to safety standards. Serve as the gatekeeper of all control and electrical drawings and primary electrical/controls resource. Maintain all PLC/HMI programs for compounding, packaging and building systems, edit and write PLC programs, create/modify HMI screens, and perform basic electrical troubleshooting and functional modifications. Collaborate on team projects to problem-solve and improve processes and procedures that improve OEE, safety, quality, and work environment. Focus on equipment reliability and seek out opportunities to drive manufacturing capacity and capabilities within the factory.
