We are currently accepting applications for Contracted Building Substitute Teachers for the 2025-26 school year.
$170 per day.
Substitute teacher will be assigned a job daily based on the district's needs.
The contracted substitute teacher is guaranteed employment for 95% of the student days during the term of the appointment and must provide exclusive availability to the Brockport School District to serve as a per diem substitute teacher.
Required Credentials:
NYS teacher certification: Childhood Education Grades 1-6 or Nursery, K and Grades 1-6.
Dual certification in Students with Disabilities Grades 1-6 or Literacy Birth - Grade 6 perferred but not required.
Preferred Credentials:
- Successful prior teacher/student teacher experience; knowledge of NYS Learning Standards; technologically proficient.
Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment from the NYS Education Department before employment begins.
