Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be working on various lines and areas of the production floor. Your tasks will include operating machines, assisting with setups and changeovers, and ensuring the smooth operation of filling, gassing, capping, labeling, and packaging lines. You will also be responsible for data entry, production orders, and documentation, as well as operating the auto palletizer and checking production reports.
Responsibilities
Operate machines and assist with setups and changeovers.
Ensure smooth operation of filling, gassing, capping, labeling, and packaging lines.
Perform packaging and gather raw materials.
Unclog and fix jams on the production line.
Enter data and manage production orders and documentation.
Operate an auto palletizer and check production reports.
Assist with preventive maintenance and support different lines as needed.
Operate a forklift to move items or gather products.
Stage skids, package, and build orders.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in machine operating.
Flexibility and understanding of manufacturing processes.
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
Experience with changeover, setup, and startup procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Forklift operation and handling hand tools.
Experience with loading, picking, and power tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
