Job Summary: The primary responsibility of the Accounts Receivable Clerk is to enter vendor invoices into CODA and Avid in a timely manner and accurately. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will also match invoice receipts based on the remittance information received from customers and branches.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Organizes daily mail.
Posts vendor invoices to CODA.
Approves and routes vendor invoices in Avid.
Matches receipts in CODA and Billtrust Cash Application.
Completes transfers by moving debits or credits from one account to another.
Completes clearance by matching & clearing debits and credits on customer accounts.
Researches accounting related topics, questions, and concerns.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have a minimum of one to two years of accounting experience.
A general understanding of accounting software specific to accounts payable and accounts receivable is preferred.
Must be familiar with key 10 and other general accounting procedures.
Should be able to operate a computer with Microsoft applications.
Strong analyzing skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain customer satisfaction is a must.
Must possess outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements:Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
