Honeywell System Engineer I – Anthem Flight Controls in Brno, Czech Republic
We are looking for a System Engineer I that would join our Next Generation Avionics – Honeywell Anthem team. You will be responsible for Flight Controls development and testing but also you may take part in General Aviation product line development.
The final product will be serving to customers not only in Business, Regional but also Urban Air Mobility and General aviation segments. There is an opportunity for you to grow alongside the new product development and experienced team.
You will report directly to our Sr Systems Eng Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Brno location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Key responsibilities
Flight Controls Servo, Flight Guidance, Autopilot, Virtual Guidance Panel or Maintenance Systems design
Requirement analysis and decomposition
Model based development
Systems integration
Systems validation & verification
Flight Test support e.g., on local Bonanza test plane
Work with systems/software engineers and other Honeywell teams during developing and integrating solutions for Honeywell Anthem product as well as for Honeywell customers
Actively support Internal and External Audits
Key Experience & Capabilities
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering/Controls Systems/Aeronautical Studies
Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
Skilled in Matlab/Simulink
Ability to communicate fluently in English
We Value
Knowledge of DO-178B/C
Knowledge of C or any scripting language (e.g., Python)
Self - starter, motivated and takes initiative and able to work independently
Interest in working in fast paced, global business environment
Very good communication skills
Actively identify new technological opportunities that will help achieve incremental or step change improvements
