About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will ensure the timely availability of materials required for the production of high-precision electron microscopes and spectroscopy systems. You will play a key role in balancing material availability, inventory levels, and production demands in a dynamic, international manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage material requirements based on production forecasts and customer orders
Ensure timely procurement and availability of components and raw materials
Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to meet service and cost targets
Collaborate closely with Procurement, Production, Engineering, and Logistics teams
Proactively mitigate supply risks
Manage master data in ERP/MRP systems
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain function
Support new product introduction (NPI) projects from a planning perspective
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field
Experience in material planning, production planning, or supply chain (preferably in manufacturing environment)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Good understanding of inventory management principles
Ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment
Fluent in English and Czech/Slovak (spoken and written)
Nice to Have
Experience in high-tech, electronics, or precision manufacturing industry
Knowledge of lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies
APICS/CPIM certification
