Honeywell Lead HSE Engineer in Brno, Czech Republic
As a Lead HSE Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in strengthening and sustaining global Health, Safety, Environment, Product Stewardship, and Sustainability (HSEPS) governance.
This role is accountable for the deployment, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of corporate HSE governance processes that drive consistent, high quality implementation of the Honeywell HSE Management System (HSEMS) across all regions.
You will report to the Corporate HSE Process Director and work closely with the global corporate HSE team, regional HSE governance leaders, and business aligned HSE organizations worldwide. In this highly visible role, you will influence enterprise wide HSE performance by enabling robust governance, effective internal audits, and standardized global processes.
This position may be based in Prague or Brno, Czech Republic and supports global operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support global HSE governance processes, ensuring consistent deployment, execution, and continuous improvement of the Honeywell HSE Management System across all regions.
Execute and maintain adherence to the corporate internal HSE audit plan , including office locations, manufacturing and operating facilities, and field operations.
Own audit planning and coordination activities, ensuring regional governance teams deliver against the approved global audit plan.
Assure the quality, completeness, and consistency of audit records , findings, and corrective actions; communicate results to site leadership, regional governance teams, and corporate stakeholders.
Participate directly in HSE audits, leveraging expertise in HSE management systems, multiple HSE disciplines, and recognized auditing best practices.
Develop, standardize, and continuously improve global governance processes that enable effective oversight, performance management, and risk visibility across regions.
Drive alignment and adoption of common HSE processes across regions, with some focus on Europe while supporting global needs.
Utilize and enhance digital HSE tools , dashboards, and reporting to monitor HSEMS implementation, audit performance, and governance effectiveness.
Direct involvement with HSE support for assigned locations (including Prague and Brno), ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable legal requirements.
You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in related technical or business field
Fluent English Speaker
6-8 years of experience in HSE enviroment
Working knowledge of HSE Management Systems or equivalent governance frameworks
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across cultures and organizational levels
Proven organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
Ability to work within EHS digital software solutions

Proficiency in project management tools and structured execution methods, Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
Knowledge, skills, and capability to serve as (or develop into) a lead HSE auditor
