Honeywell Advanced Cyber Security Engineer in Brno, Czech Republic

As an Advanced Cyber Security Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. You will be hands-on in fortifying defenses against emerging threats and acting as the subject matter expert for technical challenges. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying informed about emerging technologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect our digital infrastructure and sensitive data

  • Provide technical deep understanding of security systems at different layers. Such as endpoint, advanced malware defense, cloud, networking, data security etc.

  • Work with other Security teams to manage endpoint protections effectively and efficiently. In doing so work closely with research team, undertake research of threat vectors and provide mitigation strategies.

  • Develop and nurture team of security team by motivating and mentoring

  • Effectively manage cross-functional internal and external team collaboration, and communications.

  • Prioritization, planning of projects and features, stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments.

  • Respond to and assist with due diligence and internal / external security audit requests.

  • Support, implement and promote standard configuration and change management, processes and practices

  • Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to security standards and processes.

  • Support enterprise endpoint security software (Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne, etc.) managing 100,000+ assets across a variety of platforms.

  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our security posture

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of experience in a cyber security position

  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices

  • Ability to lead direct and indirect reports by influence

  • Must have, at least 3+ years of experience and hands-on expertise on Endpoint Security Solutions

  • Excellent understanding of Incident Response and Cyber Défense operations

  • Proven experience designing and governing endpoint solutions at large enterprise scale (tens of thousands of devices globally).

  • Excellent understanding of current Cyber threat landscape

  • Strong operational knowledge of Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android Operating Systems, Intune, Jamf

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or another related field

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cybersecurity teams
