As a Technical Solutions Consultant in our Honeywell Connected Industrials business, you will be accountable to provide technical expertise and facilitation to the sales team in selling application/system solutions . The role is ideally based in Melbourne but is open to candidates based in Sydney or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for regional pipeline development and management, tracking business metrics and quarterly business reviews
Identify software upsell opportunities within existing install base by partnering closely with sales and customers
Lead high-value consulting engagements – needs discovery, workshops, benchmarking, and master planning
Assist in shaping customer strategies and develop compelling value propositions
Coordinate with cross-functional teams involving operations, product management, proposal and estimations to position right Honeywell Connected Industrial Solutions
Key Experience & Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
10 years of progressive software sales and/or consulting experience
Hands-on consulting experience in process industries, delivering Solution Consulting / digital transformation, or operational excellence programs
Domain knowledge in at least one core vertical (Refining, Oil and gas, Mining are ideal and Power, Chemicals will be considered)
Strong understanding of OT & IT environments (DCS, historians, APC, AI/ML, Operations Management, Asset Management, data platforms)
Ability to lead customer workshops from day one
Experienced in regional markets with sharp insight into competitive market
Strong business and technical acumen, and ability to drive growth initiatives
Proven ability to engage C-level contacts for the purpose of selling solutions, value articulation and shaping enterprise deals
Knowledge of integrated operations, functional architecture, financial modeling, and translating business needs into actionable requirements
Willing and able to travel and meet customers
