Publicis Groupe  Senior Product Manager (Maternity Cover) in Brisbane, Australia

Overview

About the role

We’re looking for a full-stack Lead Product Manager to drive the evolution of our onsite Retail Media campaign activation experience and the user experience platform that underpins it. This role sits at the intersection of advertising technology, commerce, and UX, driving products that enable scalable, measurable, and high-performing retail media campaigns while delivering an intuitive and frictionless experience.

This role requires a fullstack product management mindset - combining deep customer empathy, technical fluency, data informed decision making, and strong execution rigor. You’ll operate comfortably across strategy, discovery, delivery, and optimization, and adopt nontraditional, AI enabled ways of working to accelerate insight, reduce friction, and unlock new product capabilities. You will also be responsible for driving strategic intent downward, ensuring teams understand not just what is being built, but why , and how it connects to broader business and platform goals.

You’ll work with cross-functional partners across product design, engineering, analytics/measurement, and go-to-market teams, and collaborate effectively in a global team environment spanning multiple time zones.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for activation + UX platform. You’ll define and deliver a cohesive roadmap that improves the end-to-end user experience for campaign activation, campaign management and insights

  • Lead discovery with users and translate workflows into product requirements. You’ll partner with design to do research to deeply understand user journeys and user difficulties and turn them into clear requirements, prioritization, and iterative releases.

  • Drive measurable improvements in speed, intelligence, and efficiency. You’ll align to activation outcomes that make users faster (speed to launch, bulk operations, streamlined workflows) and smarter (proactive status/health, recommendations, forecasting and insights).

  • Partner across teams to deliver end-to-end product outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and product operations on delivery, quality, and rollout readiness, and with product marketing/sales enablement partners to communicate value and drive adoption.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Deliver a prioritized roadmap that reduces UX fragmentation across activation, campaign management, and reporting, anchored in a clearer platform experience and streamlined access patterns.

  • Ship high-impact activation improvements that reduce time-to-launch and eliminate recurring friction in campaign setup and management workflows.

  • Improve adoption and engagement by applying product-led thinking to onboarding, in-product guidance, and workflow clarity, helping users understand value and build sustained usage habits.

  • Establish modern product operating practices that incorporate AI assisted discovery, experimentation, and delivery - improving speed, confidence, and quality of decisions across teams.

  • Establish success metrics for activation and UX initiatives (e.g., adoption, throughput, quality, and platform health) and implement an operating rhythm to track outcomes.

Who You Are

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in ad tech, martech, retail media , or workflow-heavy B2B platforms that support campaign execution and advertiser and retailer experiences.

  • Demonstrated success leading products from discovery through delivery , turning ambiguous user needs into clear priorities, requirements, and shipped outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of retail media activation across onsite and offsite execution models and the operational reality of campaign setup, review, and optimization.

  • Experience partnering closely with Product Design to improve usability and simplify complex workflows, especially when modernizing legacy, highly customized experiences.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, including the ability to influence without authority and align stakeholders across functions and time zones.

  • Experience writing product documentation, including PRDs, feature briefs, FAQs, user flows, release notes, and enablement materials that clearly articulate product intent and value.

Preferred qualifications

  • Hands-on use of Cursor or similar AI-assisted development environments to accelerate product discovery and execution, such as prototyping workflows, validating technical approaches, reviewing code or schemas, and collaborating more effectively with engineering partners.

  • Comfortable working with analytics and experimentation data to make prioritization decisions and evaluate UX changes.

  • Experience with dashboard, analytics, and BI tools like (Userflow, Fullstory, Amplitude, Looker, Tableau, GA, etc)

Working style & collaboration

  • This role is based in Brisbane, Australia and will collaborate with global teams across regions and time zones.

  • This is a hybrid role with two days a week in the office and the other days a week can be remote in Brisbane.
