About the Role
As part of Caterpillar’s digital strategy, the integrated MineStar portfolio delivers enterprise-grade software to support mining operations through data-driven insights, system integrations, and scalable platforms. MineStar Office plays a critical role in enabling configuration, analytics, workflows, and integrations across the MineStar ecosystem.

The Release Manager acts as the single point of coordination and confidence for releases—balancing speed and agility with stability, risk management, and transparency—while continuously improving release processes and tooling.
This role enables MineStar Office to release predictably and safely at scale , ensuring delivery speed does not compromise quality, compliance, or customer trust as the platform continues to evolve.

Coordinate cross-functional release activities across engineering, QA, DevOps, security, compliance, support, and stakeholders .

Ensure release processes align with enterprise change and release management policies where applicable.
Define and continuously improve release guardrails, entry/exit criteria, and quality thresholds.
Partner with Quality and Compliance roles to ensure ISO, audit, and BIQ requirements are satisfied without slowing flow.
Act as an escalation point for release risk, challenging delivery decisions when release integrity is at risk.
Release Execution & Deployment Flow
Coordinate deployment sequencing, environment promotions, and release windows across products and components.
Partner with DevOps and Platform teams to improve CI/CD enablement, reduce manual effort, and increase repeatability.
Ensure clear and timely release communications before, during, and after deployments.
