Job Description
Due to an internal promotion, our Queensland Urbanism + Planning team is seeking a Team Manager – Landscape Architecture to step into a pivotal leadership role within our growing practice.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Landscape Architect who loves both great design and developing people. You’ll lead a talented, multidisciplinary team, shape meaningful projects across Queensland and ANZ, and play a key role in the strategic growth of our landscape architecture offering.
You’ll be hands‑on in project work while also creating an environment where designers thrive; mentoring emerging talent, strengthening studio culture and championing design quality at every scale.
This role is based in Brisbane.
How you’ll make a difference:
Lead and manage the delivery of landscape architecture projects, including strategies, concept and detailed design, documentation, and technical guidance.
Drive project performance to meet quality, budget, and schedule targets while ensuring strong client satisfaction.
Build and maintain key client and stakeholder relationships, supporting work winning and market positioning.
Provide technical leadership and input across multidisciplinary projects including masterplans, feasibility studies, and business cases.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of landscape architects and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, pursuits, and strengthening the practices' market presence.
Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive:
Degree qualification in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or a related discipline with (ideally) a Registered Landscape Architect with AILA
15+ years’ experience delivering landscape architecture projects, ideally within complex urban or infrastructure environments
Proven ability to lead projects and teams, balancing technical delivery with people leadership responsibilities
Demonstrated experience contributing to business development, including bids, proposals, and client engagement
Strong mentoring and coaching capability, with a track record of developing junior team members
Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments (highly regarded)
