About the role
As a subject-matter expert within the Treatment Water Infrastructure team, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities, developing customer relationships, and supporting the delivery of tailored engineered solutions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple locations, contribute to sales and marketing strategies, and help position Xylem as a total solutions provider in the market.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who combines strong account management capability with market insight, technical understanding, and a proactive sales approach.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue, profit, and growth targets across the assigned region
Build strong relationships with municipal and utility customers, identify opportunities, and grow a strong sales pipeline
Provide expert advice and tailored engineered solutions from Xylem’s Treatment Water Infrastructure portfolio
Identify tender opportunities, monitor market activity, and deliver customer, competitor, and industry insights to support business decisions
Promote products, services, and maintenance solutions while supporting marketing campaigns, trade events, and internal sales collaboration
About you
Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing and sales, ideally within the water, utilities, infrastructure, or related industrial sector
Tertiary qualifications in sales, engineering, or business are highly desirable
Strong understanding of municipal and water utilities markets, with the ability to identify and convert commercial opportunities
Proven ability to build trusted customer relationships and manage key accounts across multiple stakeholder levels
Experience in tender identification, pipeline development, and strategic sales planning
Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce and strong reporting capability
Technical or industry knowledge in treatment water infrastructure or engineered solutions will be highly regarded
