Energy Design Service Systems -EDSS Facilities Work Order Coordinator in Brighton, Michigan
POSITION TITLE: Facilities Work Order Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Maintenance
PAY: Entry Level-hourly wage TBD based on experience
HOURS: Full Time
POSITION DESCRIPTION---The job includes but is not limited to:
- Accept and organize work orders within a data portal, creating and follow through
- Calling contacts daily and scheduling appointments, confirming deliveries, updates, etc.
- Coordinate and complete work orders for our clients' locations
- Organizing and balancing multiple work orders simultaneously
- Communicating regularly with clients via email and phone calls
- Invoicing clients and facilitating contractor payment
- Frequent follow up with clients and contractors
- Cold sales calls to obtain future clients
- Work within the DNE of work orders
- Handle disputes and resolve
- Processing utility rebates
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Excellent organization ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with phone calls to clients
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (excel a must)
- Having the mindset that client is first priority
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Persistence and positive attitude
- Proactivity and problem-solving skills
- Experience preferred, but not required
- Willing to grow within the department and company
- Ability to be outgoing and feel comfortable speaking with unfamiliar people
- Industry/Electrical knowledge preferred but not required
EDSS office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30AM -- 5:00PM with a half-hour lunch
