Job Title: CDL Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to operate commercial vehicles and ensure the safe delivery, relocation, and retrieval of modular buildings and storage units.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a commercial vehicle (26,000+ lbs) to safely deliver, relocate, and retrieve modular buildings and storage units using appropriate delivery equipment.

  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with DOT regulations.

  • Secure modular and storage units with proper tie-downs, chains, and rigging tools to meet safety and legal transport standards.

  • Ensure loads meet weight, width, and clearance limitations for designated delivery routes.

  • Perform on-site assessments to identify terrain challenges, overhead obstacles, grade level, and access restrictions.

  • Position units as instructed by customers, ensuring proper placement within delivery constraints and space limitations.

  • Serve as the customer-facing representative at the time of delivery, confirming drop location and product scope.

  • Communicate site readiness concerns to dispatch, proactively problem-solve to complete delivery, and escalate unresolvable issues proactively.

  • Install and recommend Value Added Products (VAPS) such as ramps, steps, or locks.

  • Log delivery completion and status updates using mobile apps, GPS systems, or logbooks.

Pay Rate:

$29-$30/hr

Must have a CDL A License to be considered for this position

No overnights - will be home every night

The pay range for this position is $46072.00 - $94952.00/yr.
