Bachelor Level Therapist - Substance Use Disorder - Brighton Center for Recovery
Support patients on their path to recovery through assessment, counseling, and coordinated care.
Under the supervision of alicensed Master‑level Therapist, this role provides direct clinical services in a structured substance use treatment setting.
This is a Fully in person position. Candidates should have some familiarity and experience with Substance use disorder treatment services. No weekends, no holidays.
Schedule: 8am-4:30pm
Compensation Range: 19.25/hr - 21.25/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Conductbio‑psycho‑social assessmentsand gather clinical information through interviews, observation, and record review
Developindividualized treatment and aftercare planswith measurable goals
Facilitategroup therapy, educational, and didactic sessions
Manage an assignedcaseload and clinical documentation
Participate intreatment team meetings, recommending level of care usingASAM criteriaandDSM‑IV‑TR
Identifyco‑occurring medical or psychiatric needsand coordinate referrals
Provideindividual counseling, crisis intervention, and patient education
Coordinateaftercare services and community resources
Ensure compliance withdocumentation, licensing, accreditation, and confidentiality standards
In residential/halfway house settings,monitor self‑administration of medications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degreein Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (required)
Minimum 3 months experiencein human services
Chemical dependency counseling experience preferred(5+ years a plus)
CADC certificationor willingness to obtain within required timeframe
CPI certificationrequired or obtained within 120 days of hire
