Forklift Operator – Yard Warehouse Worker
Pay: $22/hour
Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (regular overtime until 5:00 PM)
Environment: 95% outdoors
About the Role
Do you enjoy hands‑on work, operating equipment, and keeping a yard running smoothly? We’re looking for a skilled Forklift Operator with experience handling large, heavy materials to join our team. In this role, you’ll work primarily outdoors, managing, organizing, and moving yard inventory such as wire spools, generators, conduits, and other oversized materials.

What You’ll Do
Safely unload flatbed trailers using a sit‑down forklift.
Load outgoing trailers with large materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records of all yard items.
Operate an RF scan gun for tracking and documentation.
Perform general yard upkeep and cleaning duties.
Collaborate with yard staff to maintain efficient workflow.
What We’re Looking For
At least 1 year of sit‑down forklift experience , specifically with large materials such as lumber, generators, or railroad ties.
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
A dependable, team‑oriented mindset.
Work Environment & Requirements
This position is 95% outdoors .
Dress Code:
Steel‑toe shoes
Jeans without holes
Appropriate shirts
Winter gear for colder months
Must be comfortable with consistent overtime until 5 PM.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
