Our client in the Bridgewater area is looking to bring an experienced Production Planner to their team! This position is fully in office Monday-Friday with standard hours of 8-5pm. The range for this role is $80,000-90,000 base. This position plays a critical role in ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery for their manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate excels at navigating complex ERP/MRP systems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working cross-functionally to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert demand signals into structured production plans and work orders to support operational needs.

  • Utilize internal systems to align materials, timing, and resources with production requirements.

  • Coordinate scheduling activities to optimize workflow, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

  • Maintain and update master data within ERP–including BOMs, routings, lead times, and lot sizes; support engineering change requests/orders (ECR/ECO).Monitor inventory and in-process work, addressing constraints or shortages in collaboration with internal teams.

  • Track work-in-process (WIP) and inventory; proactively resolve shortages, constraints, and quality holds working with cross-functional teams.

  • Partner cross-functionally to support product transitions, process updates, and ongoing operations.

  • Generate regular planning updates, schedules, and performance reports to support business objectives.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, organization, and output quality.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.

  • Experience in planning, scheduling, or operations within a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Familiarity with ERP or similar systems used for planning and inventory management.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify potential issues or constraints.

  • Adaptable and responsive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • General understanding of production workflows, materials planning, and inventory control principles.
