Job Title: Microsoft Dynamics CRM Solution Architect

Job Location- Hybrid- Bridgewater, USA

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics CRM / XRM Solution Architect to join our Cognizant team. In this role, you will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-grade CRM and XRM solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related Microsoft technologies. You will work closely with clients to understand business requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and oversee end‑to‑end delivery within complex environments.

This role offers the opportunity to consult directly with clients, influence enterprise‑level strategies, and work with the latest Microsoft cloud and automation technologies.

In this role, you will

Client Engagement & Solution Leadership

  • Lead client meetings and facilitate strategic workshops to understand business needs.

  • Consult with customers on functional, strategic, and operational uses of Microsoft Dynamics CRM/XRM.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into high‑level and detailed functional specifications.

  • Develop comprehensive project work plans, manage budgets, and oversee scope.

  • Advise on licensing plans and capabilities for PowerApps and Power Automate.

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Architect, design, and implement CRM and XRM applications and platform solutions.

  • Create robust architectural designs addressing scalability, security, performance, and extensibility.

  • Design integrations with backend, ERP, and other enterprise systems.

  • Identify creative and efficient solutions to meet business and system requirements, minimizing custom code where possible.

  • Develop data conversion strategies, testing frameworks, and deployment plans.

Development & Technical Execution

  • Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics CRM/XRM using native tools and .NET extensions.

  • Develop plugins, custom workflow assemblies, web resources, integrations, and automation.

  • Build canvas and model‑driven PowerApps.

  • Develop Power Automate flows integrating data from Microsoft Forms and various Office 365 components.

  • Implement solutions involving CDS/Dataflex and multiple Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Outlook, Graph API, OneNote, OneDrive, etc.).

Training, Governance & Best Practices

  • Train client teams on CRM/XRM administration and user best practices.

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, governance patterns, and Microsoft cloud architecture best practices.

  • Promote modern methodologies such as SOA, design patterns (MVC, MVP), and enterprise integration techniques.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience .

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM/XRM.

  • Minimum 10+ years of implementation experience supporting medium to large‑scale environments (100+ users).

  • Minimum 10+ years of implementation experience in Microsoft Azure technologies.

  • 10+ years of experience developing both canvas and model‑driven PowerApps.

  • 10+ years experience creating solutions using Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, and Office 365 integrations.

  • Experience with CDS/Dataflex environments.

  • Hands‑on experience developing solutions that span multiple Office 365 services (SharePoint, Outlook, Graph API, OneNote, OneDrive, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM customization, workflows, and .NET integration.

  • Expertise in plugin development, workflow assemblies, and web resource capabilities.

  • Deep knowledge of promotional methodologies, development standards, and best practices.

  • Comprehensive understanding of full CRM lifecycle: installation, configuration, customization, and deployment.

  • Understanding of Microsoft software technologies including .NET development, SQL Server, and system integration patterns.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $135,000 to $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
