ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a high-energy, dependable and skilled team player to oversee our Lamination Department, which consists of a Lamination Line and a PUR line. This position will be responsible for the daily operation, scheduling and production for both lines and will ensure that the line has the necessary tools to operate in a safe, quality assured and productive manner.
Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 6:30am-3:00pm. This is an on-site position.
DUTIES
Manage the daily work schedule for hourly employees and one Lead on the Lamination and PUR Lines
Ensure raw materials are available for use before releasing work orders to the Lamination Line for production
Communicate, enter data, track and report metrics for the Lamination Department within the ERP system
Participate in and report out during Operations Management Team meetings, EOS meetings and other meetings and applicable
Collaborate with other JMC departments and warehouse employees to manage the care and placement of raw and finished goods related to the Lamination Department
Supervise, lead, train, mentor and coordinate members of the Lamination Department
Communicate any vendor-rejected materials to the Purchasing Department
Complete cycle count and quarterly inventory counts for the Lamination Department
Other duties as assigned/appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience working with lamination or printing
Strong understanding of lamination/printing processes
Ability to troubleshoot minor lamination machine mechanical or process issues quickly and effectively.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities to manage various responses and competing priorities effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with staff, contractors and vendors.
Direct supervision of frontline staff experience preferred
