Insight Global Project Engineer in Bridgeport, West Virginia

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an LNG Project Engineer to support a gas transmission company in Bridgeport, WV. As an LNG Project Engineer, you will lead/support the development and execution of various size capital projects to grow and maintain our interstate natural gas transmission and liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, which contributes to efficient, safe, reliable and profitable operations. These new and existing facilities (such as installation of pipelines, compressor stations or measurement & regulation stations) will vary in size, from smaller scale modifications of existing infrastructure to larger FERC 7c projects. These projects require extensive collaboration with many stakeholders within BHE GT&S to develop, design, engineer, procure, construct, commission and place the assets in service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop design plans, project schedules, accurate cost estimates, and agreements for proposed new facilities or modifications of existing facilities.

• Provide leadership and accountability inclusive of project management, engineering, and construction support for capital projects (such as installation or replacement of pipelines, compressor stations, or measurement & regulation stations) from conceptual stage through successful start-up of facilities, with oversight of outside consultants or contractors.

• Accountable and responsible for meeting budget and schedule requirements for each assigned project.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop plans, schedules, accurate cost estimates, and contracts/agreements for the engineering, procurement and construction of proposed new facilities or modifications of existing facilities.

• Lead the timely and quality completion of engineering and equipment procurement.

• Prepare requisitions for design services, materials & equipment, and construction services; evaluate proposals/bids.

• Administer/manage service agreements, design contracts, and construction contracts

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of project management & construction experience

Experience working within gas transmission

Experience working with issuing bids to contractors and interacting with construction teams

Understanding of engineering standards

Ability to travel throughout territory, including NY, PA, OH, WV, VA.

Good communication skills Experience with P6 or Microsoft Project
