MR. KEYS, INC. Locksmith Road Technician in Brick, New Jersey
The Locksmith Road Technician is responsible for delivering professional on-site locksmith services to residential, commercial, and automotive customers. This role involves traveling to service locations, performing lockouts, rekeys, hardware installations, and troubleshooting, while consistently providing excellent customer service and working independently. Rate of Pay: $18$25 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to service calls and travel to customer locations using a company vehicle. Perform lockouts, rekeys, hardware installations, and troubleshooting for residential, commercial, and automotive clients. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic locking systems, including access control components. Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring a professional and positive experience during every job. Work independently while managing on-site responsibilities efficiently. Cut and duplicate keys as needed. Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and the service vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness. Document service activities, parts used, and work performed accurately.
Qualifications Strong skills in locksmithing and access control techniques. Detail-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently. Capability to work independently and manage time effectively. Previous experience in a similar locksmith or road technician role is highly advantageous. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record, required for on-site visits. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends. Ability to stand, kneel, bend, or work in confined spaces as required by the job.
